I'm a little curious myself. I was under the impression that Hsing I practitioners used intent as a driving force. Like Li and Chris said, it's not really a matter of said techniques, but what is right for that moment.

If you're at the point of looking for certain techniques to handle certain styles/ situations..... then more time is needed. Training time that is.
