I'm genuinely interested in why you think he is dangerous Krissy. I don't think he's great by any means, but I am interested in what American opinion is. I think if you look at his history as a senator you can see he tends to be more appeasing on issues that Bush might be seen as forcefull on. I think that is the European perception.

From what I have gathered so far, you either vote for a strong answer to the war on terrorism by voting for Bush, or someone who is more geared towards negotiating. Kerry sees terrorism as less of a real threat and more a matter that needs better policing. This could be seen as aweakness by US citizens as it might open the US up for more attacks.

Of course I can't see any al-Quaeda nutters bothering to fly all the way to the US when they can stay in the Middle and kill as many Americans as they want.
