I don't think so. I would go as far as saying NEVER break down forms moves into what you THINK is the "application", and then do something totally different than that move. Without space, just take a single move or combination that is doable in the place, and repeat that for some time, then take the next ones without steps. Or, as already mentioned, do standing post and/or silk reeling.
