IF its done like described in WKK´s book, there is really no harm in it. It is one of my personal favourites, good for opening up.

IF its not done like described, with some "oh thats so simple, and I think I am advanced enough, so I will add a thing and some chi directing here and there..." Then it may become harmful. Thats true for any kind of Qi Gong though.

Doing Qi Gong after an traumatic experience? If your mind isn´t "right" for practice, it won´t do any good.

So, to be precise:
How do you think it harmed you?
What was your traumatic experience?

P.S. Falun Danfa practioners have their own organisation (which was forbidden in China. The government thought it was a sect of some sort)
