The vast majority of the top Masters in such arts....both past and present....have fathered one or more children. Celibate men obviously DO NOT beget children!

Physiologically speaking....it is normal for an adult man who is of at least average good health and disease free to desire sexual release on a regular basis. It is the nature of the male beast to do so! In any event....to totally abstain from all sexual activity....whether with a partner or alone through masturbation....usually results in a spontaneous release during the dream state at some point in time while sleeping. Therefore....celibacy is really the extreme at one end of the sexual spectrum in the same way as the over-indulgence in sexual activities is the extreme at the other end of the spectrum. Either extreme is potentially harmful to sustained good health and physical longevity from a medical perspective.

However....regarding the training of internal kung-fu and chi-kung....or kundalini yoga and pranyama....a typical problem arises. The physical exercises and breathwork techniques which comprise these methods stimulate the production and movement of the body's sexual essence (jing)....which in turn increases the sexual appetite and desire in most practitioners. Thus....celibacy becomes nearly impossible for many men to maintain....yet yielding to increased desire with over-indulgence slows progress in these systems and neutralizes the potential benefits of the training.

The traditional answer to this problem is to consciously choose self-disciplined moderation which neither completely forbids all sexual expression...like various monastic systems...nor totally dissipates the sexual vitality through excessive expression either. This then represents the balance of Yin and Yang in regards to sexuality...and allows a normal, healthy internal development without the harm or hindrance of either extreme.

Thank you Sir !!!
