| Yang Tea I am looking for caffeine-free “Yang” tea that I can use after workouts and before forms practice so that metabolism and blood continue to flow, etc. I would also consider drinking these in the morning. Does anyone know of a good, inexpensive “Yang” tea on the market or should I think about making my own from herbs that have Yang/warm energy (like ginseng, astragalus, dang gui, etc.). I’m not TOO worried about taste but it must be drinkable and non-toxic of course. Conversely I would also like a Yin tea for night time and muscle rebuilding periods and to make sure that I am not Yang overloaded. I do have access to an herb shop in Chinatown that I use to buy my dit da jow herbs so I would not mind making my own. Any suggestions? |
