What?

Sure they are... they are monks who have been chosen to do the show to make some money for the temple

"They arent monks."
* Yes they ARE monks.
They just happen to be Wushu monks, Shaolin has taught Wushu as well as traditional kung fu for quite a while now.
They use the wushu to display there skill to the public and the kung fu to errr well hit people with i guess
The martial arts in Weel of life may be mainly performance based but there was some DARN good qigung feats in it.
That guy who pulled off the two fingered handstand deserves a medal. Or the one who breaks two seperated iron rods over his head

I was a bit dissapointed to not see any really applicable hand based martial arts but there skills in performance are still extraordinary.
The weapon sets where also ammazing, there is one guy who uses a broadsword and a chainwhip. I can only start to think of all the mishaps that must have occured training that combination.

I have it on DVD, its impressive but its just not traditional Still you cant really expect them to show there real deal skills to the public toooooo easily. Still ive got footage of one monk throwing a pin strait though a piece of glass(without shattering the glass), they certainly train something real there still.
