| “ | This is the first time I have heard of someone teaching Ng Lun Choi as an "advanced" form. What school are you from? | ” |
|
White Dragon Schools. I go to the La Mesa Location. Actually, I do not go to DFW's school, but my school is part of GM DFW's Plum Blossom Federation as our Tai-Sifu (and founder of our schools) is one of GM DFW's long time students.
| “ | DFW's but his curriculum has NLM & NLC early on. Aaradia could answer that one better.
There are 2 little forms taught for absolute beginners to get them used to moving & linking the body. The first "real" sets are NLM & NLC. | ” |

I know it is odd isn't it? You two are confirming what I had already thought and noticed, that most CLF schools teach it as a beginning set- including most other Plumblossom Federation Schools.
Mostly, it seems like we learn other forms at around the same levels as other CLF schools, Siu moi Fa, Broadsword form, etc. so actually CLFsean, I can't say why this is different. It baffles me.
I keep meaning to ask, but seem to forget when I am actually at the school. I just think of these things when away from my training times. Someday I will remember to ask.
