Rep Power: 41 | | | Does anyone know of any existing translations of these two books, YI-JIN-JING and XI-SUI-JING. I know they where originally books and are (by legend) where all Asian martial arts where influenced by. I was just wondering for an extra reference. |

The only thing, in my experience, that will help you with this is to train, train, train. Your muscles have developed certain memory attributes that are tied into the movement that you learned from your previous martial arts training. In order to alter this, you'll need to focus hard on the basics and practice them alot and often so that your muscles learn how to move differently and retain that within their "memory". There really is no shortcut but diligent effort and consistent practice.
Good luck in you training! |

After what I've read about CLF, the somewhat reasonable prices, the very accomadating Sifu and the small classs sizes I think I will be sticking with this until oh say the time I leave Ft. Gordon at the very least. |

Slight correction, all CLF descends from the three teachers who taught the founder Chan Heung- two southern and one northern- that is not only specific to Chan family CLF.

Rep Power: 41 | | | From what I've been reading today, and a little bit of critical thinking, the styles that CLF where dirived from where, Fut Gar, Li Gar and Fut Gar. Thoough Fut Gar is the only one Im truly certain of. Most of the sources I have looked up say that he was taught Fut Gar and Li Family Style (which I thought maybe the same style as Li Gar but am not certain), and only one source suggested Choy Gar as the style taught by Choy Fook. |
