Chan Heung was known for learning Hung Gar early in his training apparently, which was probably known as just Nam Siu Lam at the time. There are many common fists and hands in all the southern styles because of the five animal shapes. And influence of the Five Ancestors in the southern region.

Don't know if you've heard the translated names for Ng Lun Ma and Ng Lun Choi yet GH, but Ma is 5 Wheel Stance and Choi is 5 Wheel Fist

It's Mostly Hung Sing and Chan Families that do the Ng Lun sets I believe. The Buk Sing Family doesn't do them if I'm not mistaken.

Nice video's I saw the first one the connections slow so Ill watch the rest later. The first one does the form a little different then we do but I only know half of it so I could be mistaken.

Bandit... never have seen a Buk Sing performance of them. As best I know, most schools only have a couple of sets.

Interesting! The first one only does a diu ma and then chong ma sei ping ma instead of putting in a diu-gerk like we do. I like seeing how the different branches vary. They're all good variants, as far as I can tell.

Im trying to describe Ng lun Ma for my notes. I like to keep as detailed notes as I can make.

Unfortunately I still have problems with the Chinese names for things andIm not as good at writing as I used to be.
