Thank you. My point exactly. How would you address the post then as i believe the definitions of range i provided defy those limitations.

Free movement I see as stand up and can be in any "range", while the clinch will bring you into close "range" and ground will eliminate any "range" from free movement.
For myself, nothing matters until someone steps into my sphere. Where that sphere resides is my decision.
