My Day Monday

There's a new blog entry added:

My Day Monday

I had an appointment at the Cleveland Clinic (mellen Center) Monday. The Mellen Center is the area that specializes in multiple sclerosis. As many of you already know,I was diagnosed with ms in 1993. I have not gone there since last year when I had my last MRI.
I have had several problems over this last year. Just a few weeks ago I had a (TIA) which is a mini stroke. It caused the rt side of my face to droop and the entire right side of my body to malfunction. Using chi kung, stretching and strength training I am back to normal aside from the fact that I lose my balance easily but I'm working on that.

Ms

Jeff,

I am glad to hear you were getting better from all of this. I am new here so forgive the late response to your thread. I hope you receive it. My sister was diagnosed with MS 15 yrs ago about the same time you were. She has "permanent" nerve damage. I put that in quotes because I don't believe it. The human body is designed to heal itslelf and I am glad you have proven that. Can you recommend any form of treatment as far as practice for her. She has trouble walking and her motor skills are shaky. I am going to keep this short because I don't know if you will get this. Hope to talk to you soon.

Dan
