I'm happy to announce that I passsed the second Taekkyon test last Friday (not a huge deal as we have a test once a month or so).
<span lang="EN-US" style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial">It basically involved 6 basic kicks which are more like kick-pushes than fast snap kicks. Technique is more important at the moment anyway. A very important factor is what they call “koomsheel”, which means to keep well-balanced on the leg you’re on, whether you’re kicking or stepping evasively. This has been a great help to my balance though I still find it challenging.
