Thanks bro, you'll enjoy the interview, JC is a stand up guy, it was my pleasure to interview him.

I love my Grip Dominator Sleeves, I think they are directly responsible for my improved BJJ game.

Enjoy!

My favorite part of the interview:

HZ - What is the most prevalent weakness in the training programs of most of the athletes (both professional and amateur) you see on a frequent basis? How do you go about addressing that weakness?

JC - That is easy - OVERTRAINING! Most fighters operate on the premise that the more abuse they take the better fighters they become -WRONG. A fighter should NOT test their manhood in the gym - they learn and get healthy in the gym - test their skills and manhood while making money in a fight!

That is a great statement & one that teachers of any discipline should take to the bank. I've heard stories of MA instructors whose students come out wrecked at the end of every training session and always ask myself, what benefit does overtraining serve?

great interview

I really, really enjoy the SAID stuff and the way they approach MA conditioning
it's great how the come up with training tools like the Grip Dominator Sleeves that are in a way very "traditional" and at the same time very modern
