Rep Power: 100 | | I can't get motivated about nationalistic things- perhaps it's because I'm a half and half would be Irish man who lives in England. I love Ireland, but only because my family live there really, it is home. It's quite nice, but so is Switzerland.
England, Hmmmmm. There's loads of cool things about England, but I do love getting away. Of course, I love coming back too!
It's funny, I like all the countries that have been mentioned here so far. |

Rep Power: 23 | | | Best things about the USA
1. Our fore fathers wrote the best document by man, for man. Our rights are given to us by (and I do not believe much in organized religion, more individual spirtuality) by our creator, therfore a person or law cannot change them.
2. The US gave the human spirit an outlet not seen for some time. People believed that if they came to the US and worked hard they could aspire to their dreams. Many did just that.
3. Home of the free, land of the brave (good shtuff that)
Worst things about the USA
1. Current political polarization. (Damn joke and very tiring)
2. Our history with slavery (not that we had a monoply on it or created slavery) and the treatment of the American Indians.
3. Waste of our tax dollars.
4. political correctness. |

I would not argue the point that the Magna Carta was the birth place of our Constitution. |

Rep Power: 5 | | No one has stepped to defend Spain? or even Mexico? oh man well here i go. what makes your country better than all other countries? Spain: THe women, if you surive them, you can surive everything . We have the influences of europe, a romantic country, exellent food, also a good army, and exellent music. The argentinian may have Tango but we have Flamenco, gypsy music, and some distortion of tango more spanish (without the argentinian hooks). We have the fights of the tomatoes, been chase by bulls and Bullfights (it just amazing, brings a tear down my cheek) and some of the best writers (Don Quijote anyone?). Delicious wines, and women. We are culturally mixed. We have historical cities, "la ciudad de los gitanos" (gypsy's city) Andalucia, Madrid (ahh shakira's heart breaker), Cataluña or Catalunya in catalan, Barcelona (olympics). Spain in sumary has a whole world inside it where every state is a different country. BUt i also share a special love for mexico and argentina (tiene buenos aires un adios y un jardin prohibido). And we are also liberal even thought the immense power of the church. Mexico: The women, fisty and spicy --must have gotten it from spain, haha. The food, the tequila, the blue tequila (agave 100%). THe mariachis, and salma hayeck. It is hard trying to describe mexico, it has plenty of pluses, is like describing a feeling you just know you have it, and i just know mexico is my second home and it is not cancun, or acapulco or spring brake, it is Mejico. They have some good schools, ok on sports (ranked among the 1st on Tae Kwon Do--i miss Estrada's domination on TKD) and have 2 shaolin schools . I guess it can be sumarize like this "Mexico where without one cent you can feel a successful man, where what one loves never dies...my dear mexico if i die far away from you, let them say that i am sleeping so that they take me to you [popular mexican song]" should those other countries change their ways? Spain: Of course, there is always space for reform and imporvement, spain is not a perfect place, but it is certainly a good one. We have many mistakes just like eveyrone else. I do not think my country os better than anyone else, but i like to tell about what spain has to offer. Mexico: Mexico has more problems with corruption, poverty and "Machismo" where the man is the man and you know pretty much a strict society against new groups (gays etc etc), but pretty much just like spain. what are the bad things about your country? Spain: We have committed many atrocities againts the World and against ourselves. We attempted to almost eradicate all gypsies from our country, and killed many, many of them and burned andalucia on flames. We contributed a distorted faith to the world in a time of war (The inquisition) and comitted plenty of atrocites under its name. We conquered, kill, and extortion the conquered people and looked down on them. We were sort of nazis back then under the flag of God's blessing. But times change and so did we, Mexico has forgiven us and there is no hate (at leats not like slaves vs white sin usa), so we are pretty eas going people now, and very friendly. There are many others but i cannot list them all. Mexico: Mexico suffered a lot thanks to us, my apologises to them. It has a lot of corruption, pretty good crime, corruption, infraestructure, monetary system. Still one of the best palces to live a calm life. It has many many problems just like all of us, and poverty is still its greatest illness.
None of them are better than any other country, but they are pretty damn good places. |

Okay, reasons why Canada is great: We got our independence from Britain by asking nicely. Our national sport is hockey, which is WAY better than baseball. If you wanted to start a Sno-Cone business, in the winter you would have unlimited resources. We do use "eh?", but not like Americans think we do. We use "eh?" at the end of a sentence to mean "don't you agree?", and it's great. Like "That's pretty bad weather, eh?". Oh, and there's always our national treasure, Tim Horton's - our coffee & donut shop, which you can find just about all over. Tim Horton's sells good food. It's like our Starbucks, except much more common man. Plus! What other country in the world has a one dollar coin called the "loonie" and a two-dollar coin called the "toonie"? Names like that form the basis of a functioning society.
Bad things about Canada would be months and months of snow and cold weather. And our political party in power's had a bit of scandal, with money going missing, but the other main party sucks too much to vote in...also, our mail is really slow. Quebec has a strong separatist movement, and though that problem was sort of dealt with it will inevitably come up again.
Ignore all that though, and come to Canada for the possibility of a very prosperous Sno-Cone business. | ” | |
You're right.
Now what part you from ... ??? That will determine if you're as good as the rest us !!! lol
MMMM ... Timmy's ... Large 1 milk 3 sugar please ... and would love to have cherry cheese danish with that.
You must be from the East ... Hope so!!!
