In the clubs when women fight most of the time they slap each other then start pulling each others hair while the men stand around yelling rip the blouse off!

1. I prefer Kung Fu over karate mainly because you see all of these pre-pubescent kids thinking after one class they can take on every body and any body. And the fact that karate seems too controlled for my taste.
2. The outcome of the fight would not be able to be predicted, without before hand seeing both fight in different places and other excercises to determine level of skill
LOL! you nailed it Nik. All joking aside, too many variables to even guess. As said before, it depends on those involved. Each situations finality depends on an undeterminable amount of in the moment happenings.

I grew up on Streetfighters, and I used to watch DBZ as a kid.

On the topic on Kung Fu vs Karate, here's another example of a match on youtube.
It doesn't specify what style the kung fu practitioner uses, but it seems to show signs of being a northern style as he seems to use high, elaborate kicks. In this example the karate guy gets his arse kicked, but he's also the guy who uploaded it so careful on the comments.
I was gonna laugh at the kung fu guy for his orange shaolin monk getup. But then he whips out those nice spinning back kicks, nicely timed, good range, and good awareness & control.
It was clearly light contact only, and every opponent is different -- another karate stylist may have gotten around the kick no problem -- so it doesn't answer the question of who's better, but I liked the demonstration of skill.
