Correct there are none with zero application, just very many with so little. |

I could say the same for judo. All an inexperienced person can see is a couple throws and some people wriggling around on the floor in white pajamas.

Rep Power: 20 | | | I dont really know enough about other styles and there isn't alot of choice that i'm aware of on the island. I've only seen my style, karate (not sure what type) and Tae kwon do, I've heard of judo here, but never seen it. of those few i'd say i'd be least likely to go for tae kwon do just because of the bounciness of it. The forms look like they lack flow and power, but i have seen the fighting style and it was pretty good. it seems more of a sport though than I am looking for. I've never attempted anything else so i don't know about the other styles. I'm not really in a good position to say what i would like. I've not tried. I usually try to keep to the "dont knock it till you try it" attitude.

Rep Power: 8 | | | I'll put in a vote for the 'hate' field:
Contemporary Wushu
I know they don't mean to do it, but it feels like they make a mockery of what I do. I respect the fact that they have to be incredible athletes to do what they do, and that it takes incredible amounts of effort and time to do what they do, but .. I can't help but hate it.
Then there's Theatrical Wrestling like the WWF and whatnot. Oh lordy, I hate them too. For all the guys who stomp their feet when they do a guillotine, you get a big fat F on your report card. |

Rep Power: 4 | | | Tae kwon do. i dont hate their art as much, even though their bounciness gets to me, some kicks are done pretty well, and some kicks are just tappy to get points. more of the people. |

Rep Power: 153 | | Have you ever seen a fist that looked like a flower or feet that could embroider something?
I don't hate styles but I do feel sorry for quarter-inch boards sometimes. So many being sacrificed to McDojo black belt programs around the world.

Rep Power: 100 | | | I hate people rambling about the "application" of forms. Show me the "application" of a wrestlers bridge, but I heard it's really good for your neck power. Other than that, I "hate" people doing good forms hilariously bad, so it's goofy. Oh, and of course I don't like clubs much who go through applications that raise two eyebrows, in anyone with some understanding.
