Pet peeves about styles,families etc

The style of Karate I practiced also had the San Shin. I only got about ten minutes of training in it before the Head instructor blew up at the other black belt that was there (I only made green in that style) I havent practiced since...its helped that I have been in and out of the country since then and there wasnt any schools around here for that style.
