It's a shame but you can't blame the older guys who learned before the internet and couldn't fly to Asia to check on peoples claims. All they did was train hard, respect, and trust there master. It's the propagators fault for starting the non-sense.

What puzzles me is why did the old boy accept the challenge? Had he been doing it for so long he actually believed his own hype? These people usually dodge challenges.

This was discussed elsewhere a long time ago, but if I remember correctly the deal was an open challenge to anyone and the "MMA" guy just happened to except.
At least, I think that's what the story was and why he accepted the challenge.

But why would the poser have the open challenge in the first place, I mean wouldn't he realize someone better than him would probably challenge him. He doesn't look like he was ever hit before, just from the way he reacted to the first punch. I mean he couldn't possibly think he was as good as he was claiming. He himself must have known he was a scam? How could he not?
