Gotta say, dude is indeed a bad mofo, if you're a bacon cheeseburger
your lack of respect for an accomplished martial artist who has forgotten more movement than you probably ever knew is very common and immature - we dont know your experience but its doubtful you have fought anything more than halitosis - instead of putting other people down which is disrespectful in the ma why dont you go practice - you will certainly need it if you shoot your mouth off like that in rl - internet tough guys are a dime 12 dozen - less talk more practice - and in your down time learn about respect, humbleability and quiet confidence - you wont learn that on utube but its an integral part of the ma
Let's face a couple facts;
Steven Seagull is a liar, associated with Mobsters, has threatened to kill people, has committed fraud numerous times, is a cheater and a lecher, only received his Aikido black belt because the man testing him fell asleep and didn't see how incredibly poorly and crappy he did (this has been confirmed by many of higher rank).
It's great you respect such a phony faking fraudulent BSer, but time to join reality or open your eyes to what the actual facts are, he's not such a great guy and a far less better martial artist.
I don't give my respect to people just because they can't act and make crappy movies so much that I become a grade A nut hugger, people have to earn my respect and nothing he's ever done earns it.
what has he done to take away your respect Prophet of nuthuggedness ?
im sorry i couldnt bring myself to read that whole 6 gig post - (brevity look into it) - it looked like a lot of unsourced gossip
hes a bad ass* - hes a black belt on whatever level and traditionally deserves some respect in my opinion- i dont know if hes a P***y for not fighting the mob like in the movies but im sure hes earned his black belt as stephen pointed out
u cant watch that video and say hes doesnt have game - hes got good technique admit it
besides ive known lots of "liar, associated with Mobsters, has threatened to kill people, has committed fraud numerous times, is a cheater and a lecher, only received his Aikido black belt because the man testing him fell asleep" black belts and worse thats fn* mild
I disagree on the "he got his blackbelt because his tester fell asleep, confirmed by Barney and Homer" part.

It was confirmed not only by his wife and ex-step-mother at the time it happened when they still loved him.
But by his tester and 6 others who were there to test that day
And you believe that ? First, his aikido doesn't look that bad, wether or not he could make a knot into a sniper barrel. He got worse in his movies over time getting older, but you can spot he had a bit of skills that the likes of Rothrock and other B movie "martial artists" never had. Second, IF you had a "club" or "teacher" who hands someone a black belt "falling asleep in the test", I'd got a problem with such a "teachers" credibility anyways. So they're not the kind of witness I'd like on a claim like that. Which is, given the japanese mindset, a load of crap anyways, an urban legend, hoax, pulled from the a$$, made up, you name it.
Being a wife beater, punk or business crook nonwithstanding.

His wife and ex-step-mother have a very solid reputation in the Aikido community and both have high ranking blackbelts, so did the ex-step-father.
It's not surprising he had some skill considering who he trained with, doesn't mean he is all that he claims.
Also, he did the majority of his sweet stuff in movies, which says a lot about his skill. The rest was done with compliant partners who did nothing or were payed to make him look good, as verified by numerous people with records of payment.
Look, he's all "cool" and all and did have some skill, but he's far from what he and others make him to be
It's not wether he's "cool", or if he could do anything he did in movies against anyone in real life. It's about hogwash claims like "his stepfather was asleep when testing so he didn't see all the crap he did and gave him the belt anyways". Not much different from "Obama went to a muslim radical suicide bomber school at age 4 in Indonesia, because it was written on the internet".

I actually liked Steven Seagal in the early years but as he got older and fatter his movies began to decline. My favorite movie of his is Out For Justice. I don't know how is Aikido is in real life but in the movies he looks good (when you can't see them splicing the film).
