my doc said that the knive should be the last thing to consider
it'll help for a while, but won't actually heal the knee
and with "only" two injuries in 16 months it wasn't "that bad"

Rep Power: 220 | | | Dude, every doc says that surgery is the last thing you should do and it may not help, then after months and months of no cure for the problem and you get cut, you realize it was the only cure for the problem and shouldn't have wasted months/years with pain, injury and difficulty

Rep Power: 220 | | | You'll be better off, every ortho injury I had required surgery, but because I listened to them, it took months/years to get fixed instead of immediate.
Luck bro, hope it heals up, but if not have them carve it clean and you'll be good in no time, I was doing some normal physical activity the same day as mine got carved and fixed, and was back to normal within a month.

Rep Power: 160 | | | One of my teachers had fairly intense knee surgery - she can now one leg squat with perfect technique, jump around fine, but can't run over rough ground or hike downhill... I'd be tempted to avoid it as long as possible.
