Rep Power: 18 | | | wierd pain ok this is very wierd. a few nights ago i woke up at 3 a.m with this bad pain in my left arm. was from my elbow all the way to my hand. If i had to describe it, it felt like a headache. It ws just throbbing and throbbing. i waited 2 hours for it to go away and it didnt.so i took some asprin and it finally went away.
Then last night at about 3:30 a.m the same thing happens. and so i took aspring again and this time it took a little longer and it finally went away. My om thinks i got an injury from working out. However when i recieved it the first time. That day was my leg routine. Then yesturday i didnt even work out
so i was wondering if any one here knew wht could possibly be going on. ty.

Do you have to take larger than the recommended dose for the pain to go away?
What is your sleeping position? You could be pressing on a joint in some wierd way.
Outside of working out, are you doing anything repetitively that involves the hand/wrist/elbow?
Did you bruise or sprain any part of your arm (hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder) in the past weeks/months?
Do you have any heart/respiratory/circulatory conditions? Do you take any medications for them?
The doctor will probably ask all these questions, but you should write down your observations before visiting. It will make your answers more certain and help him advise you further.

Rep Power: 12 | | Well a numbness in the left arm can be a sign of Angina. I really hope it isn't that. Just found this, sounds identical to yours. hope it helps. http://www.thedoctorslounge.net/rheu...opic-4002.html

Rep Power: 13 | | | i used to have that problem in my right arm. it even woke me up like you. it happened quite a bit actually. i never really go to the doctor unless i am forced. but i went anyway and she said that it was probably just growing pains like openmind said. she said to come back if it persisted. and it didnt. it went away after a couple months. i never had any more problem with it. good luck.
