Rep Power: 100 | | | whats for lunch? For many years I didn't eat lunch, just never had the time and it was not worth stopping work just for that. Of course that excludes the business meeting lunch or when I am speaking at a conference or seminar.
Now I have a health problem that requires me to eat several times a day. So what I have been doing for lunch is I slice up pineapple and a banana and mix it into strawberry yogurt and cottage cheese then break up peanut butter granola bars over it. It's good and may even be good for you.
So anyone got any quick lunch ideas other than junk food or a sandwich?

Rep Power: 220 | | | I don't often eat lunch, but when I do, I often do a rice-blend something.
Either a rice/vegetable/meat blend(your choice of what)
Or a Basmati rice and fruit blend(again your choice of what)
Both are good and nutritious and provide plenty of vitamins, nutrients and energy to fuel me until dinner.

Rep Power: 100 | | Soup. Soup really fills you up longer than the same quantities of calories in solid form. Covent Garden Soup Company do some great soups in cartons these days too!
I also love this one: - http://img.tesco.com/pi/xpi/5/5050179984095_200.jpg

I prepare ALL my meals myself (except for dinner a couple of times a week) in advance
I freak the people at the office out at times tho with the stuff I eat
most are used to it now, but the new people always give me The Look

Rep Power: 149 | | | Just had pad thai at Chili Duck near the Pru. Good stuff, especially with a little fish sauce which has bits of super-hot Thai peppers in it, when you hit one of those it's pretty intense. Kinda burnt off the doldrums today as it's a miserable rain.

Rep Power: 100 | | | Thats not really an everyday simple lunch sam, and you have to like spicy food. Also what about those things that don't require cooking or heating?

Rep Power: 100 | | | one thing I take with me to work sometimes is pretty simple:
open a large can of sugar peas, open a can of tuna and poor some sweet chili sauce over that...
makes 3 small meals during the day
