| The common cocoa butter helps, there are also products like scaricin(sp?) that help to reduce and minimize scars, if it's a tight scar, sometimes soaking it in warm water and massaging and stretching the area will help tp loosen it up.
As for scars, I have a nice one on my wrist from where a piece of bone was torn out (had it for years and it's still tight).
Another from a surgery and that one is better, took a year or so there to get it back to normal.
One from a knee surgery, not too bad as it was arthroscopic and you can barely tell.
Another on the arm from a bullet, that one was inflamed and tough for a while and is just now back to normal with no difficulty and not that visible unless you look directly at it.
So, depending on the type, size and severity of the scar, use the cocoa butter, any scar reducing products you can find, vitamin E, warm watter and massage to loosen and stretch it if it's tight and incapacitates movement in any way and be patient, will take some time, but with proper care and attention, will go as back to normal as it can and cause no problems. |
