Hey, if it was so private I minded questions, that would be my bad for posting on the Internet about it. I appreciate the input! You all are smart and have good ideas!

It is lopsided. My neurologist knows in passing I have gone to accupuncture-errr I am pretty sure I mentioned it.? But he has not asked for my accupuncturists opinion. I don't think he would care to either, but I will see if I can bring it up next visit. Couldn't hurt to try.

My accupuncturist knows far more about what sort of tests I have had and all and shows an interest as he tells me to keep him updated on all of it, but has not said much on the matter yet. Just some stuff about Chi imbalances and working on that. But, he might say more when I see him next. I haven't seen him since most of the tests have come in. When I told him MS had been ruled out, he told me he had always been pretty sure it was not that.

(And that reminds me, my chiropractor wanted me to have the neurologist send him copies of the MRI's and I totally forgot. Thanks for reminding me.)

I find the alternative medical people are far more open to what mainstream doctors say, than the opposite.

Years ago, the mainstream doctors were openly dubious or hostile at the mention of chiropractors and accupuncturists, and at the least they are not so negative as years have gone by. I guess because our society is slowly becoming more openminded to "alternative" medicine.

Actually, now that I think about it, 15 years ago, my chiropractor was trying to get me to stop accupuncture and my accupuncturist was telling me to stop seeing a chiropractor! I changed both of them!

Again, thanks for the input.

Lol, good luck anyhow. You are a couple hours away, but the Emperors College in Santa Monica has some really talented people on staff. If you're ever up there you might consider dropping in for an evaluation/second opinion...
I could get you a name if you'd like.
They have really helped some people that are very close to me.

Any more news? I hope they've eliminated some more possible diseases from the list.

I'll know more on Tuesday when all the blood work is in and I get (hopefully) to talk to my DR instead of his secretary. Some of the blood work came back.

The secretary said all the tests came back ok, but I know that my B12 is not ok, so I am confused. It may or may not be low enough to be causing these problems, but it could not have gone up almost 300 points to a normal level while abstaining from the B12 booster shots. When I asked for clarification, she said to call back on Tuesday when all the results were in.

Also, I WANT it to be the B12. My neurologist said that would be a good thing to hope for too, because it is easily treatable. So, if it is NOT B12, it will be a step back both in getting it fixed and in finding out what the heck is going on.

But, yes, I know they eliminated some more scary stuff- a rare muscular disease or two and lupus are off the table now amongst other things. That's good news.

Thanks for asking. I'll let you know when I find out more.

Thanks, but if it is not covered by my insurance, I can't afford it. I get by, but not much more than that.

I appreciate the offer though. Seriously! It is appreciated.

At least you know what it isn't, so that's some positive news. Just don't forget though, that whatever happens, don't keep it inside. There are people you can talk to about these things. Me being one of them.
