How to use a Custom Avatar

• Each member of the Dragon's List is allowed to use a custom avatar after making a prerequisite of 50 posts.

A custom avatar can be a picture (ie .jpeg, .bmp, .gif files) or a small piece of artwork (smilies, symbols ect).

Before using a custom avatar one should note the following:

• 1. Each image can be no larger than 64 x 64 pixels or 19.5 kb (whichever is smaller).
  2. Each image must adhere to the Dragon's List guidelines and policies. In short, no pornographic or obscene photos and no photos containing swearing.

To use a custom avatar follow these simple steps:

1. From any page on this website, click on "Quick links" at the top of the page on the navigational toolbar.
2. From the drop down menu, then choose "Edit Avatar."
3. Once the page loads, scroll down to the bottom half of the page to the section that is labeled "Custom Avatar"
4. Select the "bullet point" next to "Use Custom Avatar"
5. At this point you have 2 options. You may either: upload the file (jpeg,gif,bmp) from your computer or post the web address (url) of the file if it is already stored on a website.
6. If you choose to link to the avatar, simply type in the exact web address (url) into the field labeled "Enter Avatar URL" and then click "save changes" at the bottom of the page and you are finished.
7. If you choose to upload the image from your computer to our servers, simply click the "browse" button next to "Upload an Avatar from your computer" and then find and select the file on your computer. Once selected simply click "save changes" at the bottom of the webpage and you are finished!

After completion of these steps you should then reload the page and verify that under "Current Avatar" your new avatar is shown. If so, your new avatar will be shown on all posts you have made and continue to make.
