The Dragonslist offers a means to rate the overall work of fellow community members in the form of
Reputation.
Every Forum member has the ability to
approve or
disapprove of their fellow community members by leaving feedback on their
Reputations. To Give
Reputation based on the events in a particular post simply click on the "
Check/Cross" symbol next to the individual's
Online Status. Then proceed to click on "
Approve" or "
Disapprove". Along with this please provide a brief statement as to why you are leaving Feedback for them.
Reputation is displayed next to the Online Status of every community member in the form of "
Reputation Cookies". By hovering the mouse over these Cookies the member's title will be displayed.
Black Cookies represent a member who has disabled the Reputation feature. By doing this he can hide his status from others.
Grey Cookies represent a member who has amassed more negative feedback than positive.
Green Cookies represent a member who has amassed positive feedback. Multiple Cookies are correlated with the increasing amount of positive feedback. So the more positive feedback, the more Cookies are displayed.
In order to check your current
Reputation follow these simple instructions:
-First click on the Forum link in your Navigational Bar
-Then on the User CP option. Here you will see the latest Reputation left for you underneath your Newly Subscribed Threads.
-Next click on the Edit Options link on the left hand side of the screen. In the first box here you will see your current Reputation level. You will also have the option to turn Reputation on/off here.
When should I leave feedback
Forum members should exercise their right to give
Reputation to each other freely. Whenever a member provides good insightful information you find useful, makes you smile or laugh, or if he demonstrates a quality you like should constitute
positive feedback.
Negative Feedback should be reserved to dire circumstances. It should NOT be given to someone you simply do not like or agree with. In order to be fair,
Negative Feedback will also decrease the overall
Reputation of the individual leaving the
Reputation.
How often can I leave feedback
As with any system there are those who will look to abuse it. For this reason Forum members can not leave repetative feedback on other members without first spreading around
Reputation to a fair amount of others. There is also a limit of how much
Reputation a member can leave per day.
ENJOY!!!
