Sometimes a community member may elect to include an image as an
attachment to his post. It is often said that a picture is worth 1000 words, so sometimes a digital picture can save a lot of head-ache for those not understanding simple text.
Allowed file types include;
bmp,
doc,
gif,
jpe,
jpeg,
jpg,
pdf,
png,
psd,
txt, and
zip.
To include an
attachment in your post follow these simple steps:
1) After typing your post scroll down the screen to the next box entitled "Additional Options".
2) Select the option under "Attach Files" by clicking on "Manage Attachments".
3) You will be brought to the "Manage Attachments" pop-up. Select "Browse" to scan through your computer for the proper file.
4) Once you have selected the proper file, select "Upload". It may take a few moments to upload the file.
5) Once the file is uploaded you have the option to "Upload" other files.
6) When you are finished uploading files, click on the "Close this window" option.
7) You have now sucessfully uploaded files to your post. When you are finished click on "Submit Reply". Other community members will now be able to view your attached file.
Please be considerate of the forum when choosing files to upload. Be conscious that they are in concert with the forum rules, and relevant to the subject at hand.
