Yup of course you'll be taking quite less creatine than you do for bodybuilding...

Actually, Shrfu_Eric, I forgot I have one substance addiction.

I am quite the coffee addict- must have several cups in the am, or I am useless!

As for protein supplements, I like Met-rx and Designer whey.

You just mean cutting out the loading phase right?
I am taking one slightly rounded tsp every evening.

I would advise that you compromise and take creatine in afternoon and night.

Do you mean a half way loading phase? Why do you advise this?

You have to test it out and see how it feels.. cuz u r not loading as per se...
I suspect if u should be eating tsp of creatine... may be bit less...
if you are taking other protien supplements then you don't need too much of creatine.

Are you planning to cycle it at all? If you are,you need a bigger buildup faster and then maintain high level in your system during the on cycle.

Jeff(fuzzy30)

I will definitely cycle it. Probably 8 weeks on and then 4 off. I don't want my body to get to lazy about processing natural creatine, so I don't want it to get too used to it.

So, are you suggesting taking it twice a day for a loading phase or for the whole eight weeks?

Creatine helps you work out longer and rebuild muscles a little bit faster due to the excesive amounts of protein in it. Creatine produces water weight, as mentioned above. You retain water and when you stop taking creatine, some of your gains will be lost. You can probably make better gains if you just eat a lot of protein and eat healthy. *** note *** creatine will not mess you up, you'll just lose some gains when you get off it.

I do a 1 - 2 month creatine cycle once a year. Creatine is a very effective supp but I dont think its something you use 12 months a year. It was never meant to be taken that way.

Heres a Bold statment - "Creatine is fake muscle." Want protein eat some peanut butter sandwiches.
I know a lot of boxers that use it. My training buddy uses it but I wont touch it.

"Creatine is fake muscle."

it's not bold, it's ignorant statement.
Creatine is far more than that... I suggest you do some research on it. it's wonderful to know about it.

creatine loading

aaradia
I,when loading,I take it 4-5 times a day for 5 days then I use one dose a day for 2 months. After that I stop for 1-2 months Then start again.
As stated above, you will lose size when you stop. If you measure your (each specific) muscles after the water release is gone, you will see that you grew muscle tissue faster than when not using it. Granted, the water build up will fool the eyes into believing muscle has grown more than it REALLY has. It is strange but it seems to actually fool your body also in the sense that you will be able to lift more weight for more reps than with out it. You also heal the muscle quicker. All this adds up to faster actual gains. Using creatine is safe as long as you keep your water intake up and it REALLY WORKS.

what I like is that you can push yourself to your max and when you normally would need to rest for a while before you can continue, you need hardly any time at all and go at it again...
that way your trainig is far more intense than without creatine
same for the days *after* a hard workout
your body recovers faster and you can train more and harder
that way the gain will stay with you even in the periods you don't use creatine
