Rep Power: 160 | | | My teacher has a set of scales that measure bodyfat. They're not perfect but they average out about right.
I always cut over the summer - just naturally - and with the sunny weather lasting longer this year he's been giving me the "your body fat is getting too low" speech...
Thing is, though, even now, I don't have the same cut as guys with much more fat who don't do tai chi - it seems once you're into the IMA that layer of whatever always sits over the muscles and makes you look soft...

Rep Power: 160 | | | Well, I'd go careful. I prefer to train before breakfast, when my stomache is empty. As for fasting and IMA - fasting and meditation can have some really strange effects.
No one can give you a clear answer on this. Don't train too soon after eating. Other than that, go easy, observe yourself, pay attention to what you see.

I can give you some of the pranayamic breathing methods also to improve your metabolism
These 3 breathing exercises need to be done in same order. it'll help you with cleaning your internal system. http://www.lifestyledecision.com/Yoga_prana/asthma.html http://www.lifestyledecision.com/Yog...bhastrika.html http://www.lifestyledecision.com/Yog...ma-viloma.html
There are methods to detoxify your body too. like fruit juice fast.. or if you are fasting for ramadan then it's also good way to detoxify.
There are yogic methods that I know.. but it's hard to explain those online... Warrior diet does help a bit in this regard.

I agree!! Cleansing is very important and is the most natural way to boost metabolism. I eat fruit puddings every day to help satisfy appetite as well as give ALL the nutrients my body needs in 1 20 oz! Serving. If you have a blender and would like some simple recipes let me know. They will help you get healthy and lose weight.

Rep Power: 160 | | | A handfull of blackberries/blueberries. Juice of 4 apples. 4 plums (stoned but leave the peel). Chuck in a blender. Drink. You can add protein powder if you want.

Ha! Ha! Sorry for the delay.
However for more balance I go with this
A chunk of kale
About ten leaves of spinach
Apple Juice (3-4 cups)
FROZEN (This is important it will give the drink its texture, dont use ice)
1 Full BANANA (Potassium is important it will keep the hand steady)
THEN GO WITH OYUR FAVORITE FROZEN FRUITS
I usually go with strawberries and pineapple and Huckleberries (seasonal)
I use seeds for protein
Thr trick for great flavor with all those veggies is blend the veggies with the apple juice for a good 2 minutes. I know it seems silly since it obviously shreds right up.
Then fill it up with your bannana and other frozen fruits to the brim. Blend at medium speed until the blades become free and smooth of frozen fruit. THEN HIT THE ICE CRUSH UNTIL THE GREEN FILM IS GONE.
Try it you'll love it!!

Thnxs ill see if i can get the ingredients so when i break fast tommorow have somefing nice and cold to quench my thirst.

Sorry I guesse I could have been more clear I was in a hurry. You dont have to use Kale, but its a sorce of protein. And the BAnannas need to be frozen not the juice. In place of Kale for protein you can use flax seed. And you throw them in and blend them before you add the fruit for the second blend. If you keep the fruits frozen you get an awesome smoothie texture. My freind uses flax seed in liquid form (i dont know where she got it) You can really throw in whatever you want. Just keep it natural for best results!! Let me know if you got any questions.

Rep Power: 6 | | | Maybe if we eat low glycemic foods the body will raise energy and metabolism? If I were a body, with all those sugar spikes I'd be scared ****less to boost energy, which explains why sugar eaters NEED it so bad.
Generally eating more and exercising more raises the metabolism, muscle mass does... yep.
