Rep Power: 35 | | STF, i think this was on favorite flavours, rather then on nutritional advice to do with it.
And hey, i eat ice cream, and i'm far from fat. (though i dont eat it more then twice a month), and you are forgetting the wonders of ice cream yoghurt, and sorbets, both of which if made correctly have zero or near zero saturates, and taste like heaven.
Oh: Proof of non-fatness http://www.freewebs.com/thelilwolf there is a recent picture of me on the front page (DIG THE HAIR?).
Unfortunately i cant really provide proof of my occasional ice cream eating, but i can provide evidence of something much MUCH worse on the nutritional scales: Stuffed crust pizza.
500 calries PER SLICE! (an average of six slices per pizza means that you have OVER the full amount of calories for a whole day in a single pizza). And i have four empty boxes of them which happen to be the product of a single weekends pizza binge.
Still though, my body is in good nick, and getting better. Just gotta make sure that if these things HAPPEN, they dont happen often (or they happen on a day you forget to eat anything else :P)  |

I did have some fabulous tequilla ice cream in Mexico last year.
Sounded gross to me too, but it's yummy!!!
I found some fantastic chocolate soy stuff at "Block 1912 bistro" and some excellent rice stuff from "Sweet nothings"(an Oregon co.). I find it in the health food store. My fave is the vanilla with blueberries.

Rep Power: 153 | | | Beraducci, tell your girlfriend to pick up a bottle of Lactaid (pills). These are basically the lactase enzyme which is the counterpart to lactose (an enzyme in milk products). Many people do not have the lactase enzyme, which is key to being able to digest milk. Without it, they get an upset stomach after eating ice cream, cheese, etc.
Take 2 right before eating ice cream, she will have reduced symptoms or even none at all.

Yeah, vanilla is best for a protein shake. A couple of raw eggs, four or five scoops, and a spoon full of protein powder. I like the Blue Bell brand myself.

Honeybunny's cousin told us that when some relatives came to visit (Fla.) last Christmas, they bought like 15 gallons of Blue Bell, packed it in dry ice & tin foil and took it back north to their freezer. And since I heard that, I've been trying to figure out how if I can fly a few gallons home with me after vacation this year... hmm I wonder what the carry-on regulations are for that, LOL.
