same here - hate mustard any type - EXCEPT ON BROILED SALMON. The musard carmelize and sweetens and works very well with the fish. You can use just mustard. If she dosn't like it - I'll eat it.

Its what I take to work for breakfast most days of the week. Yummy...

As far as fast food goes, I consider Subway to be pretty much the best national chain out there, but it's still fast food. The quality isn't such that I'd describe it as something I "honestly enjoy eating." There are so much better subs out there in any town with any significant Italian population. |

Rep Power: 69 | | | Well, I was talking to one of our guys who's training for a fight and dropping weight for it, and this guy has always eaten a lot of junk food and Micky D's and what not, and he was trying to eat "healthy". I find that a lot of folks who aren't used to eating lots of veggies and fruits, don't really know how to use them in cooking to make them taste well, but if you invest some time, as I have, (in order to fight some of my parent's diseases, the big 3, hypertension, diabetes, heart disease), I have found that you can make lots of very tasty dishes that are healthy.
- I have grown to love most fruits, frozen blueberries and cherries, YUMMY!
- Black bean soup, add garlic, onions, chopped spinach, tobasco hot sauce, very tasty! oh yeh, I like to add shrimp to this one, very tastey!
- Sweet Potatoes YUMMY!
One thing though, I love Brocoli they way I get it in Chinese restaraunts, but I can NEVER get it to taste that way at home, what gives?
- Nuts, I absolutely love nuts, mix it with raisins or other dried fruits is pretty awesome stuff.
- Fresh green beans sauted in a wok at high temp with a little olive oil, very tastey.

Honey's not terribly unhealthy, but it's not terribly healthy, either. More than 3/4 of it is sugar, and the rest doesn't have a whole lot of nutrients, either. Ditto for sugar cane, obviously. |
