Rep Power: 0 | | | Nutrex Lipo Six and Others So lately I've been really watching my weight and tone, because I want to be in my best physical (and mental state of course) that I can before my Black Belt testing in two weeks because it's going to be a big deal, and needless to say.....I want to look good. So I've been taking creatine and Whey Protein together, and started taking this fat burning supplement that I hear was real good, Nutrex Lipo 6. Has anyone heard about this or have any experience with it? With the new things I'm taking I just want to make sure I'm not doing harm to my body. Thank you,
~Dan

I'm a little iffy about the NL6, though only really because most products like it rely on caffiene and other stimulants to work, but I doubt that short term use would cause any real problems. Once it's gone I wouldn't buy any more, instead get some essential fatty acid supplements (flax oil, fish oil, etc). Only advice otherwise is make sure to stretch and practice to be ready, and fiber is your friend.

Don't worry about weight, you're what...17,18???. Just eat five small meals a day, making sure you get some "good" fat, complex carbs, and protein in each meal. BTW, what style are you getting your black belt in. Sorry if I missed it in another post...

personally, I'd not replace the supplements when you're finished. They're not the subtlest way to adjust your body. Besides, taking supplements to bulk and supplements to trim is a good way to end up like my mate who's theory of a 'balanced' diet consists of alcohol to 'balance' caffiene...

Rep Power: 0 | | | Lipo Six and all those other "fat burners" dont burn fat just by taking them.
All they do is make you not hungry, and or give you a amphetamine-like boost of energy.
You dont need these to loose weight unless you love fatty foods, and dont want to eat them anymore....sooo you take the Lipo 6 and all it really does it make you not hungry.....basically.
Just keep your diet in check. Diet is the most important thing in weight loss. Even more so then exercise. |

Diet and exercise are both equally important for losing fat.

Rep Power: 13 | | | That is what I have found to be true as well. Just eating right doesnt do it. Nor does just working out. It has to be a well balanced combination.

Rep Power: 11 | | | The best way to lose fat is to eat healthy, do aerobic exercise and do resistance exercise.

Rep Power: 160 | | | The bottom line is consume less calories than you burn. It's just there are good ways to do that, and bad.
