Rep Power: 24 | | | Raw eggs are great for protein, but I prefer to blend them into anything from a banana milkshake to a glass of choclate milk versus just eating them as they are.

Rep Power: 0 | | | Been studying this a little latly for a nutrition course I am doing. All the sensible stuff i have read from proper Dietitions, says for weight loss increasing carbs is best Esp complex carbs, do the simple stuff like cut out saturated fats and sugar, swap from white to a wholemeal style bread and eat 3 proper meals a day and if you need a snack go with the fruit etc instead of pies. If its muscle gain you want then plenty of protien, theres a formula that tells you how much protien you should eat compared to your body wieght for muscle gain but cant remeber it exactly somthing like 25g of protien for every kg you weigh, I am probably wrong about that so you should check it prob on a thread here somewhere |

Rep Power: 24 | | | For the formula, refer to tkd's formula, 25g per kg of bodyweight would mean that you are eating more than 2lbs of protein every day.
As for what kind of shake, anything. I like half an orange, some milk, a banana, a yoghurt and two or three eggs. It should be sweet enough, otherwise, don't use sugar, but rather honey.

Rep Power: 24 | | | What's your goal now? Still trying to lose fat, or is your focus now on building muscle? If you're trying to gain muscle, that's fine. Otherwise, drop the peanut butter and make sure you take skim milk, unless you plan on skipping lunch and drinking this shake instead. And one egg isn't all that much, I'd go for at least two. I've added up to four to one shake, and didn't notice the taste, so don't worry about that.

Rep Power: 0 | | | checked it out I am pretty sure my formula is about right. A good buddy of mine is a body builder and although I disagree with just about everyother aspect of his deitry habits i cant deniy the guys Huge, thats roughly the way he used to gain muscle bulk. if you wana gain muscle you gota eat lots and lots, and dont forget the carbs other wise your body wont have the fuel to burn. |

Rep Power: 24 | | Your formula is way off. You suggest 25g/kg bodyweight, bodybuilders use about 4-5g/kg bodyweight. Check it again.
Also, on raw eggs, courtesy of T-nation.com: | “ | Just remember that despite how buff Rocky was, raw eggs suck, and we’re not talking about salmonella poisoning (although that risk does still exist to some extent despite improvements made by egg distributors over the last few years). According to a study found by John Berardi, the body can only utilize about half of the protein found in raw egg products. So not only are you risking getting sick, you’re wasting your money. Lesson: Cook your eggs! | ” | |
And yes, I have stopped eating them.

if you r looking for gains... I'd still suggest don't imitate bodybuilders if you are martial artists... with 2gm on Warrior diet, you'll look muscular.

Rep Power: 5 | | | I didn't know it was more efficient to cook eggs than eat them raw. I've had great success though just putting a couple of raw eggs in my shakes. My recipe for a protein shake is probably simpler than any other... Break open two raw eggs and put them in the bottom of the glass. Then fill the glass nearly to the brim with vanilla ice cream. Then fill the glass about 2/3 full with milk and stir. Calcium + Protein = Great Muscles and bones.
