I've been researching weight training and supplementation quite extensively in the past few months, and you run across lots of useful information about all sorts of things if you look in the right places. By the way, check out Biotests new whey product (it can only be bought online on T-nation, so if you don't want that, stick with what you have), I don't think it can be beaten in terms of price. Should also mix pretty well with pretty much everthing.

I suggest ON Whey. Its very cheap, tastes ok, and has 24 grams of protein per scoop, plus glutamine, BCAA's, potassium, and lots of other stuff.

around 29 dollars for 5 lbs.

If you're looking at taking whey protein i'd stick to the stuff at your local GNC or health food center. Usually companies pack a lot of extra's into their whey products that you wouldn't get from whole foods or straight whey protein (which I imagine taste like a$$) GNC brand is pretty good and cheap. If you have a high budget Optimal Nutrition makes a good brand with added Glutamine which helps with muscle repair. Just about any brand of whey you buy will be similar, it all depends on how much you like the taste. Though it has to be better than eating the Little Miss Muffett stuff you're trying to swallow down and at least you know exactly what you're getting.

Opitumum Nutrition whey is cheaper and has more of the extras you were talking about.

GNC is high priced and your not paying for quality, necasarily.

I've been trying New Whey Liquid Protein, which is sold in Health food stores.
It comes in an elixir and in several flavors,as well as varying grams of protein.

I am into week two of new training.
I am following the program being used by webmaster at this time. I have done many programs in the last 40 years of weight training. At present I am only concerned with strength and size. I am following exactly the five set five rep with 5 min between each! (the max) each.

This is also found at GNC (I got 10lbs.)
I am also eating 4-5 times a day. I also am drinking vast amounts of water. Add to this 3 8oz shakes made in milk with NITRO - TECH HARDCORE made by Muscletech. For 30 days drinking 3 shakes a day (approx 70grms protein each) plus well, read about the stuff it's awsome. After that 30 days I am cutting down to two a day. I am also taking so ther powerful growth stimulators and suppliments.**** NOTE: *** I can not stress water intake enough.***

With Respect
