Rep Power: 53 | | My wife mentioned this last night too - we've been eating a bunch of "rabbit food" since we've got married. My wife comes from a holistic eat-crazy-stuff family, so we HAVE to have all sorts of greens, mostly spinach or romaine lettuce... So yeah... We're watching ourselves pretty closely to make sure we don't have an outbreak!!

Rep Power: 53 | | | Sometimes I think I might agree...
Actually right now is my company's international convention (which is why I'm not at the computer as much) so I'm living off nasty convention food, soda, and candy bars... I actually do really well on that high-sugar low health diet - except that nasty Salt Palace food really sticks in your gut... In high school I seriously lived on Root Beer and Twizzlers - and I've never been healthier! (although I'm in better shape now!)

Rep Power: 153 | | | Ouch, I'm a big fan of spinach (high in iron, nice leafy green, etc.). I've always been a little weird in that I rinse even the pre-washed, bagged produce -- never fully trust something I didn't see washed. Plus I don't eat it raw too often, usually I heat it in a pan for a few seconds until it's wilted, or add it to omelets etc. Looks like it's off the menu for a few days though.

Rep Power: 100 | | | People really eat raw spinach in salad ? Hmmm. There is ALWAYS a good amount of risk with eating mildly warmed up raw stuff that was deep-frozen. Actually I would never do that. My mother is of that old post-war generation who actually eats EVERYTHING whatever state. I can keep telling and telling her to stop eating rotten stuff that is ages old, to no avail. Last time she ate a soup on Wednesday evening that was cooked Saturdays, and later told how she caught a "flu". It almost killed her, but no, it wasn't a soup standing for almost a week before eating.
