I would also guess that because creatin allows the resyntetisation of ATP, this would PREVENT the body using fat burning as an energy donator. I have read that a FEW reports claim "immediate fat burning", but that is most probably due to it being a buzzword. People WANT that "fat burning" and would buy anything that promises it. In a scientific report I studied now, I didn't find that, and it seems illogic to me. The body uses fat burning when running out of quick methods of energy donation, so if you fill up glycogenic/carbo based depots, it would never start using it.
What I can assure you is that most reports mention a weight GAIN of ~ 3 kilos in the first two weeks.
BTW, I remember that using GROWTH HORMONES (HGH), which is a "traditional" part of sport doping, creates an enormous amount of fat burning, cyclist pros like Ullrich and Armstrong used this. Maybe those individuals claiming fat burning under doing creatine forgot to mention they were using HGH and steroids too.
Thus, if you find someone who can REALLY help you on how to do it (doctor or sports pro), growth hormones can help you lose a lot of weight in short time. But it's DANGEROUS, and is no means for a long time healthy diet.
On another note, if people in the military are pressing you that much to get "rid" of you, leaving for good and putting your energy into a business would be a good idea. Much healthier for the feelings, and probably financially more rewarding.

Rep Power: 41 | | | Oh believe me I have been arguing for about 2 months that everyone on their Company run extra PT program has adapted and thats why as a whole results have been slow going. For about 20 days (between July 27 and Aug. 18) we had no company run extra PT. I cut 15 pounds, 4% Body Fat (on the tape), and 3 inches off my waist by doing my workout routine instead of theirs. Now they are finally willing to look at my PT program and have agreed if I type it up (very Detailed) that the instructor will look at it and if he approves I can start doing that for extra PT instead of their Company run program. As some have pointed out it was partially due to about a 500 Calorie cut and (Im not sure how many carbs average is less that 250, But all I cut out was 2 pieces of bread a day and rice with dinner). In about a week to a week and a half I will be changing the routine up again (though they dont need to know that) to be better suited for the PT Test and not as specifically for cutting weight. I Thank everyone for their HELP!!!! and if anybody has more suggestions for losing weight or improving Pus-ups, Sit-ups or a 2 mile run (I usually get in the 60s for push-ups and sit-ups just missed the 2 mile by 6 seconds) please let me know. |

Rep Power: 49 | | | I know you said you needed to gain inches in your neck....I am a formed wrestler and the best exercise to give you a bigger neck is doing neck bridges. Lay on your back and raise up onto your toes and the back of your head and roll back and forth. When you can do that then spin on your head so that your stomach is now facing the floor. keep spinning and rolling and rocking in this position. Football players do this too, only they do it with thier helmets on.

It's yours. Over two miles 6 seconds is just a matter of motivation and condition on the day unless they're asking for really quite impressive times.
Nothing to add to the standard really - train distances greater than 2m, train walk/sprint with the sprint uphill and the walk back down, RUN when you're running, think of nothing but a stopwatch showing a time minutes less than your best, rest up before the test.
Neck bridges... careful with your neck - not that I can offer much in the way of alternatives - mine has always thickened as a secondary result of other training, like rock climbing.

Rep Power: 220 | | | Crazy enough as this will sound, you can wait to add muscle to your neck as that will only add weight to your body, if you're trying to cut, cut the fat first and foremost and add extra muscle weight later.

Rep Power: 41 | | | Didnt specify. Just in general thought it was not enough weight. Though he seems to enjoys telling people they should be able to run in this time or do this. He did say he realizes Im trying to cut weight but still wants us to have weight to build...though he wants heavy weight done 15 reps 3 sets |

Rep Power: 41 | | | Thats 2% under what I needed to get. Im basically taking this week off (partially bc my knee has been hurting) and then going back on my PT program, a little adjusted putting push-ups and sit-ups back into it since I have a PT test coming up. Im hoping to lose another 2% by september 18th. That way I have a 4% lee way while im on vacation going to my next duty assignment in Ft Gordon Ga. Since I seriously doubt that if Im not driving I will be wanting to work out being that its now been 4 months since Ive seen my wife. |
