No cardio before working out?

No Cardio Before Weights - Training and Advice

Hey yall found this artical online and was curious as to everyones thoughts. I havent finished reading it yet but sounds plausable thusfar. Though I do strongly believe everyone will react differently to different workouts. Look at me Im proof that heavy weight wont reduce weight but a buddy of mine does loose weight when he lifts for heavy wieght instead of reps.

I've heard all sorts of myths around this one.

Like everything else it's down to goals and the individual.

When various groups have done "studies" then on average there's a slight benefit to doing the weights before the cardio for most people.

It sounds good to me. I would train 1 or 2 muscle groups a day (with weights) for 6 days a week hitting each group 1 to 2 times in the 6 days (best if only once).

The cardio (I) would recomend would be to do it only 3 to 4 times a week. As to doing cardio first thing in morning or in evening I would say to mix it up and see what works best for you. As we know, everyone reacts differently.

I say keep up with good diet 5 to 6 meal a day. Supplementation and diet are reactive to each differently as well. Besids other supplements (many at present) I like creatine before and after each workout.

With Respect

I agree that it is largely determined by the individual. With me, for instance, I can't hardly stand let alone run for an hour after my weight training. The same is true vice versa, that if I run for a hour before weights, I usually fall 1-2 reps shy when using my standard weights. So for me, I have to do the two at completely different times, such as opposite sides of the day or alternating days.
