I can see my husband trying the pig intestines, he's weird like that. That sure is a lot of sugar though!

How much chicken do you use, you don't want to drown your chicken in liquid, or do you? Also what kind of cooking wine? White wine? Cooking Sherry? Red Cooking Wine? Etc...? I assume that the sugar will thicken the liquid, correct? As well as make it sweet to the taste?

My favorite Chinese meal is; Sea-food Soup (Hai-Yue Tang), To-Fu in hot-gravey(Ma Po Do-Fu), Moon-Cakes with Red-Bean(Yueh-bing hong-Do) and wash it all down with Ginger-Tea(Ziang-cha)! I get these dishes at "Bo Loong Restaurant" in Clevelands' Asian district, and "Sze-Chuan River Restaurant" in Boardman,OH.

Li Ma-Keh.......I love fried dumplings. I believe you say it in Chinese like "Gwa Tia" or something like. Is that anything coles? Also I like shwan la tong (hot n' sour soup). For the main course I'll take anything thats spicy like kung pow chicken. But I do like lo mein with lots of scallions in it.

hmmm,... I've used; 'wei wo yee-ge' (give me one more) probably same thing,...lol' o.k.,..how about 'mien gan' it's those hard-noodles they give you with your soup in the wax-paper bag. Don't forget the three Chinese words All Americans know,...Kat-Sup(Cantonese for ketchup), Gung-ho(Cantonese for good-work), and Ty-Phoon(Cantonese for Big-Wind), those words have worked thier way into the American language since the early 1900s'.
