Liquorice overdose!

Experts have warned people against eating too much liquorice.
It follows the case of a 56-year-old woman who was admitted to hospital after overdosing on liquorice.

The woman from Yorkshire went into muscle failure, a potentially fatal condition, after eating too much Pontefract cake.

Writing in the Postgraduate Medical Journal, doctors said she had been eating the liquorice sweets to relieve chronic constipation.

Everything in moderation! Geez.

If you have chronic constipation, try more fiber and veggies. Herbal remedies are generally supposed to help improve things, not replace normal eating/living habits.

lol so to reliee constipation she eats liquorice? wow.hell just take some milk of milasia or whtever its called. after i had surgery on my hernia the docs told me to get that so i dont strain my bowels and wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo boy let me tell you. if u need to clear ur system get some of that stuff. and when u hit the toilet its like soup hahaha.
