Rep Power: 100 | | | Thanks for the site chief. I ordered some today and it will be here tomorrow. Now,I sure hope I can eat it. For 3pks it cost me $39 and change. For that price I will not waist it. If need be,I will just choke it down.

Rep Power: 64 | | | Well, according to chief, how do you know if it goes bad? Does it start smelling good?
Sorry, but fermented soy is too close to kimshi ( however it's spelled ) and I won't touch that stuff regardless what my Korean friends say.

some traditional foods should be kept for the traditional people only...
here's a nice video from NationalGeographic about an ancient Viking celebration: rotten Greenland shark meat...

Rep Power: 36 | | | I will have to disagree with all of you on this one. Natto is excellent. My wife is Japanese, so we always have a couple pkgs of the stuff in the fridge and freezer. You gotta mix 'em up real good, that is when it gets too look REALLY sticky. Then, you add a little hot mustard and soy sauce. Nice...Yeah, it smells, but it is super good for you. The Japanese say it "cleans your blood", don't know what that means. I eat one small pkg with breakfast, and I think it gives me a little boost of energy, just like after I eat sushi. My 2 cents.... | |
