So...
finally I got my natto (for those who don't know/ remember what I'm talking 'bout: Baichi started a thread about this a long time ago, but 'cause he left us all of his threads were deleted from cyberspace as well  )

3 little boxes with this terribly foul smelling stuff 
so...
anyone besides Baichi ever tried it yet
I like japanese food, but I must admit that this little sucker scares me a "little".....

did a little research (duhhhh....) on Da Net and most japanese don't eat it either!!!
well...
I got some extra soysauce and washabi (saw on one site that natto mixes great with mayo too  ) as a backup and I will cook loadsa white rice to go with it...

I had just about 1 teaspoon full and it tasted as it smelled and lasted for 2 days....
no more natto!!!!!

From those pics natto looks kinda like refried beans, if you added the lard and forgot to mash them during the re-frying process. But you gotta squint a little bit to get that mental image. I wonder how it tastes in a burrito
