Rep Power: 153 | | Don't worry, Sgt. Brown can solve this!
Once, Sgt. Brown punched a hole in a cow just to see who was coming up the road! And he knows food, man. We had a bachelor party for Sgt. Brown once -- he ate the entire cake before we could tell him there was a stripper in it.
Too bad he's stuck on Ft. Benning.
Ah, well. Here's to Sgt. "Bill Brasky" Brown!

Rep Power: 19 | | | Getting back to the title subject,I tried Flat Patties on 81 Mt.Auburn St. in Harvard Square, inside the Garage Mall. They make great custom-made burgers and fries diner style, with other deli items.
There's also Spike's Junkyard Dogs,a '50's-themed mini-chain based out of Rhode Island and with locations in Conneticut and of course,Massachusetts.
The walls are covered with old ads for cars and motorcycles(Indians!),the original slogans for Pepsi and Coke, etc.
They have awesome burgers, with the opton for chili on top if you want.Great dogs and chicken too.
Sammygirl, check them out at the corner of Boylston and Mass.Ave in Boston.

Still no match for Hot Dog Heaven in Orlando FL.

cheeseburger, mmmmmmm my favorite.... Check out the link
on the natto thing, interesting stuff. Powerful blood thinner, so strong that people on hypertension drugs should avoid it (or use it instead?)

Yes,I've been there many times, but it's been years since I last went.
I also went back to my old hometown of Fitchburg, and found a place called Grillicious. It doesn't have its own website. It's a little hole in the wall along John Fitch Highway.I was out riding my bike in the woodland trails and decided to have my dinner there.
I ordered the gorgonzola cheeseburger with french fries. The fries came separately, and were sliced along the width of the potato,so they weren't like sticks;they were like potato discs..with the skins still on em.
Nyum.
They served me a fairly large burger with gorgonzola cheese. They pride themselves on organic meat, and it came out great.I also bought a bottle of banana flavored milk that came from one of the local farms.I'm assuming the (all-natural)banana flavoring was added after the cows were milked;the farmers out there don't seem to have the money for genetically altered cows.

Rep Power: 10 | | | Ahem, if I may say a few words on the subject of cheeseburgers...
The best hamburger in Califronia can be found at the Squeeze Inn in Sacramento. Don't even know if you should call it a cheesburger. It's more like cheese pile with a bit of beef hidden under it. Also, if you come during the lunch or dinner rush, give yourself a good hour to wait. the line can be nuts.
The king of them all is in Chicago, it's a place called Hackeys. They make a bacon cheeseburger with the toppings inside the beef. They call it an inside-out burger. I make them at home now and their damn good.
Although in response to the original post, both of these place are pretty damn bad for your kung fu.

Rep Power: 10 | | | Also I just remembered this...George Foreman once blamed his loss to Mohammad Ali on a pre-fight cheeseburger. Which is what inspired to invent the George Foreman Grill. All the taste without the fat or grease...George Foreman is a funny man.

LM: "Wait a minute, what does that have to do with..
GF: "Be quiet Larry, I'm tryin' to plug my grill!"

Rep Power: 220 | | If we want world class burgers, thee best I've tasted anywhere, then Minneapolis has two of thee best places anywhere for great burgers.
Cap's Grille, they do half pound freshly ground sirloin beef burgers done in a variety of ways and they are out of this world, grilled to perfection
My fav is the Cajun burger, done with freshly smoked/barbecued shredded pork on top. Caps Grille | Minneapolis
Another is the Lion's Tap
They have some phenomenal burgers that have won awards as well and a great plus is root beer drawn on tap, 1919(one of thee best root beers this world will ever know) Lions Tap Home |

Yeah, but it's still probably not good enough to make me want to go to Minneapolis. I hate cold weather | “ | Originally

Hey no fair! This is a b-b-que place! I'd have to go their at least twice before I even thought about trying a burger. Unless I brought bunch of friends so we could all order different stuff and then try it all out. Generally a good idea at b-b-que restaurants. | “ | Originally

Root beer on tap? Now it's on!
I think it's safe to say that eating at either of these places should be reserved for recovery from only the most intense of kung fu workouts.
