Rep Power: 160 | | | A few drinks after training is definitely good, and a heavy training session the morning after definitely helps the hang over.
My own personal rule is that if I can't tie my shoe laces the next morning I had too much to drink after training and I probably shouldn't drive to work.

Rep Power: 46 | | | maybe I'm the only one who lacks motivation to train the next morning after a night of drinking. I did'nt drink too much either (i dont think). I just gave it up in the end. There's no such thing as a day off at a shaolin temple. that means not for me either. oh well

Yeah, everyone's different. A pint of Guinness right after training does it for me, I feel fine in the morning. Two pints of Guinness right after training, and I'm not even getting out of bed in the morning!

Rep Power: 24 | | | After competition we would always go drinking, either to celebrate our recent victory or drown our sorrows of how badly we we're cheated. Personally though, I don't care for hard liqour or dark beers. Give me a corona and two lime slices and I'm doing just fine. Drop Top isn't bad either. |

There have been several studies recently that show MODERATE beer consumption lowers your bad cholesterol, and that one to two alcoholic drinks a day is part of a healthy lifestyle. Beer and Wine of decent quality are both high in ANTI OXIDANTS and pretty good for you in moderation, but not liquor and frufru drinks, it's kind like natural candy aka orange/apples/grapes versus man made over refined bad for you candy.
