Rep Power: 0 | | | XY Nei Gong hey everyone,
does anyone know of a reliable XY nei gong book? i ordered "XY Nei Gong" by dan miller & tim cartmell but it's been out of print for awhile and i feel like it will be on back order forever... any advice is greatly appreciated
also:
in xy, is one supposed to "tense up" at the end of issuing a blow? i've read this in many books but it seems to counteract the idea of an IMA. my strikes are fast, and therefore not overly soft (i.e. tai chi), just looking for some constructive criticism.
maybe it's necessary in the ming jin stage?? |

The tensing at the end of the strike is just that, an explosive blink at the end, then relax again. You pretty much nailed it with the ming jin comment, just follow your own advice and learn to tense up "the right way".
Xingyi Neigong is a must have if your in this for the long run. Buy it.

Since it's out of print, any ideas where to get it? Amazon put me on a one-month delay, and Plum Flower Press no longer carries it. Thanks. | |
