I don't know if anyone has heard of this term and I have as of yet not seen it in this forum but I discovered a phrase the other day on Tim Cartmell's Shen Wu discussion board.

CHI HUGGER

a chi hugger is a person that uses concepts of chi to make excuses or explain things they don't understand in order to seem smart/enlightened/etc.

now I'm not saying that I do not believe in chi; even as a mere beginner I have had sensations of what most would describe as chi; I just find it very funny when discussants are called out for being chi huggers; just as it is funny when others are called out for being pseudo experts.

now I'm ALSO not calling anyone on this forum out; just wanted to bring something humorous to attention.
