...... I figured as much. The younger you start, the better. As long as you have patience. Remember also the meaning of Hsin I Liu Ho Pa Fa Chuan. It's not hsing-i lhpf.

Pay particular attention to the mechanics of each movement. Ask your teacher to show you nine joint walk. It's a basic exercise from LHPF. Simple looking, but *very* complex.

It's been my experience that a single form/style of chi gung is best practiced/trained. Even after you've mastered the "external" characteristics there is much more to learn from your body. The knowledge must be instinctive, and deep to get the most from any chi gung training.
Good luck, and train diligently *every* day for at least a short time. The end results from training are more than you'd expect.
