......and there you go. :)

>Yes, I'm pretty new to internal martial art. I do however truse my instinct. I will master Lu's lhbf and then perhaps I will seek out your teacher one day and see for myself.<

...... I figured as much. The younger you start, the better. As long as you have patience. Remember also the meaning of Hsin I Liu Ho Pa Fa Chuan. It's not hsing-i lhpf. Pay particular attention to the mechanics of each movement. Ask your teacher to show you nine joint walk. It's a basic exercise from LHPF. Simple looking, but *very* complex.

>I do Qigong myself such as Yi Jin Jing and looking into Wudang Qigong.<

It's been my experience that a single form/style of chi gung is best practiced/trained. Even after you've mastered the "external" characteristics there is much more to learn from your body. The knowledge must be instinctive, and deep to get the most from any chi gung training.

Good luck, and train diligently *every* day for at least a short time. The end results from training are more than you'd expect.

For anyone who is interested in LHPF...

12 Animals of Liu Ho Pa Fa
Master Wai Lun Choi
04/23-04/24/2005
Cambridge, MA
$150 for 2 days, 4 hours each day

Originally, Liu Ho Pa Fa was called Water Boxing, symbolizing water's ability to be both still and moving at the same time - like the ocean or a great river. Practitioners learn to combine the softness of water with the power of the wave - limitless, endless, never ceasing and never broken.

Later, the water reference was considered too difficult to be understood, so the name was changed to Liu Ho Pa Fa to express more directly the idea behind the training and make the intention of the style clearer.

See this link for more info on the 6 Harmonies and 8 Methods

The purpose of the animal forms is to train the inside and outside - the mind and the "chi" inside, the coiling power outside. However, the animal forms themselves have real practical fighting purpose and applications.
