| Leading Force, Standing force I have been learning Xingyi, and have just started getting the beginnings of leading force. What is interesting to me is how it relates to my yoga practice. In that we use spirals, and the opening or closing of the kwa (though I didn't use to call it that), the raising of the dong (spelling? - the inside of the thighs) and so on to create ways of staying still with no effort, often in quite demanding positions. In Xingyi it seems you play with the same forces to make you move effortlessly and with power.
