What I meant was...no ones talking about xing yi any more. No questions. No noobies to bully. No new vids. No more interesting info.

Well, here's some new blood for ya! i'm in sheffield awaiting your pm to invite me to an interview to assess my suitability to become your xing yi student, and i have other friends who are interested too!
New blood aplenty, whenever you're ready!
Unfortunately i've got nothing to contribute to the xing yi forum at this time as i know almost nothing about the subject! But i'm an uncarved block ready to learn!
All the best

Rep Power: 53 | | Here's a fun question for you, since I really don't know that much about Xing Yi...
If I had a choice between Xing Yi, Wing Chun, and Hung Gar - why should I choose Xing Yi over others? I'm not asking which is better - but why would you suggest somebody take Xing Yi over the other two... (I ask because the school I may be going to teaches all three, but only lets you specialize in one... I think) Thanks - and Congrats for all that other fun stuff!

Ok, so I cant say that its better (it is). Instead i'll say that it works?
In essence its simple to learn, difficult to master. Dont need to be a brick out-house inorder to be good at it. Weapons are par-de-course (which always makes things fun) and I've found that people tend to shut up and listen when you say you do xing yi. Unlike wing chun or hung gar, where my teacher is always more badass than yours...
But it is better.... | |
